Demo version that we recorded on Nick's iPad that was sent to RAK to show what we'd managed to come up with and what would eventually become 'Meat Eater'.

This was what we sent over ahead of going into a multi-million pound studio to get it recorded with them. This....without a full set of lyrics, and a middle 8 that was the wrong chords. Thank fuck Andy from RAK could see potential, and rather than be "what the fuck is this shite" was very much on-board so long as we didn't waste his time, which we didn't. We used the studio time well...and then we ran out of time because we were adding more and more stuff (how very Trojan Horse) and managed to get an extra day of free recording and mixing to finish up. Lots of long days and late nights, and disagreements over how to mix it (RAK wanted nice and clean and probably more radio friendly, we wanted gritty and raw and analogue sounding) we came to a compromise, which is the version you know and "love".
