Salford Music Festival 2014, in support of The Fall.
I remember this one being 1. warm as fuck, 2. a real slog to get the audience, who were there to see The Fall and definitely not us, interested 3. someone walked off with my guitar during the ending of the set and was collared by Danny the Red just as he'd got to the front door of the venue.

ALL THIS FROM A HOME TOWN SHOW.

Audio quality is pretty patchy, but some decent renditions of WTUD and the newborn Meat Eater, which little did we know, was a mere 19 days away from being crowned GUARDIAN SINGLE OF THE WEEK 17th October 2014.

We listened to a load of King Crimson, Jethro Tull and Yes LPs, and dragged the 70s kicking and screaming through the subsequent decades, whilst cutting away all the 20 minute keyboard solos and ditching the capes.
